The Windows 10 Anniversary Update was released by Microsoft today, August 2nd 2016. Windows 10 PCs will be automatically updated worldwide if the given PC is configured to allow automatic Windows updates. The update will show as Windows 10 Update version 1607.
Some of the changes that are installed with the update include:
- Skype Preview for Windows 10
- Windows Ink (for digital pen users)
- Edge Browser extensions and plug-ins
- Cortana, Windows Defender, and other security updates.
